Oswestry Community Action (OCA) is a local charity working to improve health, wellbeing and quality of life across Shropshire and the Borderlands.
What we do
We believe everyone should have access to the support they need. Our services are shaped by local priorities, addressing challenges such as rural poverty, social isolation, and the lack of access to public transport.

Transport
A vital service for those who are isolated, our Community Transport service makes it possible for members to get to healthcare appointments, go shopping, and enjoy making social visits.

Whether you’re looking to meet new people, build confidence, or simply take some time for yourself, our wellbeing services aim to help you feel your best, stay active, and feel connected.
Community & Health
We collaborate with organisations to support care and wellbeing initiatives such as Social Prescribing and Cancer Champions, which all have healthy and thriving communities in mind.
Arts &
Workshops
We host a number of Arts workshops, including sketching, textiles and Art History, all designed to fire up your imagination and teach you how art can support your mental health and wellbeing.
